I am new to EYP, how do I become a member?
To become a member, head the top right corner of the page and click on the “Join Us” button. Eligibility for membership is dependant on meeting all three criteria. You must:
- Have resided or studied in Luxembourg within the past five years
- Be between the ages of 15 to 30
- Have attended one of our events
If you don’t meet any of these requirements, we’ll keep your information on file and update you on future opportunities.
How frequently does EYP Luxembourg host events?
EYP Luxembourg organizes a variety of events throughout the year to engage with and empower our members. The highlight of our calendar is the National Selection Conference our annual flagship event. We also facilitate activities such as training events, workshops, educational excursions, and provide opportunities to attend various events in the country.
If you would like to be even more involved, we also offer opportunities to participate in events abroad. We send our members to sessions across Europe and cover the majority of the participation fees. Our members can thus gain invaluable experience and broaden their horizons while interacting with youth from across the world.
This is my first EYP session, how does it work?
A typical National Selection Conference of EYP Luxembourg lasts four to five days, and consists of committee work where participants research and draft resolutions on given topics, which are then debated and voted on in a dynamic general assembly. Participants also have the opportunity to socialize through team-building exercises, cultural evenings, social events, and more.

I'm not fluent in English, can I still join?
One of EYP Luxembourg’s goals is to encourage English language learning. While fluency isn’t necessary, participants should have a good enough grasp of the language to communicate effectively without needing another language. We believe improving English enhances session participation as well as offers valuable personal and professional growth opportunities.
I am a member of EYP Luxembourg, how do I register for sessions abroad?
We regularly send opportunities to our members so it is important to regularly check emails (including spam folders) and keep your notifications on. If you’re interested in a specific session or have any questions, feel free to reach out to us directly via email and we will be happy to arrange the opportunity for you. We will provide full support along the way and assist with any questions you may have.
